Deserved every bit of it....

sadly, the one who will be fined is Chase and not the one who either

a) turned right on purpose

or

b) really is not that great of a driver - I've seen quarter midget novices race better than that move.... and they don't have spotters telling them there's a car there (but he had one, and a crew chief, that likely told him the rain was coming....)

sigh

That was intentional all so his Rice burner buddy could win and rep the brand. You don’t turn that far right unless taking the redpill.

One thing I know Chase has an army like Dale Jr which Hamlin found out about too. He’s lucky no fans else he needs an armed escort.

WTF is it with that Gibbs franchise they keep wrecking Chase. Paybacks coming but he will be methodical and make it count.

3rd time this year Chase had a winning car taken out. At least his cars are good this year. But intentional wrecks like that catch up over a season especially now with faster turnarounds and no practices.

Chase got screwed both races.

Race 1 he ranked 3rd starts 11 by stupid ass draw finishes 4th
Race 2 he should start 4 but starts 17 due to stupid ass inversion. Set to win or be 2nd and punk ass Busch takes him out on purpose. What a shitty deck of cards

Kyle Busch is an awfully damn good driver. I find it hard to believe he did it on purpose. And without watching it (I listened on SiriusXM again), I have no idea if anything precipitated anything laps before he knocked the 9 out of the race, thereby making this a retaliation episode, instead of a colossal driving fuck-up by Shrubby.

Should I fuck off and die, now? :D

Only reason I'm pissed at him, to the extent that I am, is that Harvick may have had a shot with fresher tires, to run Denny's rice-burner down

Watch this and you know its intentional. He had more than a car width between it was not a racing close and accidently hit him:

Kyle tried to take out another Chase today. What a pathetic driver, needs superior cars to win and still has to rely on dirty tactics.

Earnhardt always did it on purpose. Have you not been a member here longer than me?

It was blatant...

Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. I didn't see it. But don't worry, he has a payback coming. I gathered that much from Moody and the boys last night in their post race comments. It almost sounded as though they believed it was deliberate (they were suggesting that it wasn't), and were looking forward to future theatrics. Anyway, if y'all hate drivers wrecking other drivers just for the sake of wrecking them, I still promise to forward the previous recommendation to management when said payback occurs.

Still don't understand why everyone was so pissed at Kyle, he admitted fault, took 100% responsibility and apologized on air and in person to Chase and his crew and crew chief... If his name was Earnhardt, ya'll would be cool with it... I thought he handled it very well...with a plausible explanation...

Because its too easy to say sorry with a shit eating grin while you take out the car with fresher tires than your teammate leader and cost him championship points that matter in playoffs.

He was over a car width away you don’t make that kind if mistake. Chase will act nice but will get his payback likely when it matters and done in a way to not look intentional.

He took a likely win away there is no sorry for that

We'll have to agree to disagree... Kyle handled it well and after a chat with Chase, hatchet was buried... I wouldn't expect Chase to give Kyle any "breaks" anytime soon, but in the same token I doubt he'll get involved with a payback situation.....

And that, sir, is why I have a great deal more respect for Mr. Earnhardt - whom I did not like until I got to see him be 'dad' in VL with Junior; and still would not have cheered for on track - than for PeeWee Herman Jr who can't admit it was on purpose....hell, bring out the freaking "I didn't mean to wreck him - I only wanted to rattle his cage" than the fake "I messed up" crap and then get pissed when the reporter asks you a LEGITIMATE question...

PS

I don't believe Chase Elliott is 'cool' with this nor do I believe he thinks it was a 'mistake'.... I just think he's smart enough not to throw radar out there for the day he pays back.... revenge is a dish best served cold - and Gibbs Racing has it coming....

PPS

Wrecking someone for 'payback' kind of doesn't fit into 'just for the sake of wrecking them'. And, sometimes, ya gotta let the assholes know they can't push you around (let's say, oh, ala Lil Red in Florida a couple Decembers ago when he took the kid out on the last lap who had taken him out in every race they were in.... that kid didn't mess with him in Darlington last September. Of course, we found out later that the kid was the son of the head of NASCAR tech or some such fiddle faddle like that... LMAO. Oh, and to be clear, he was told in no uncertain terms that we weren't 'happy' with what he did but that we understood WHY he did it. Standing up for yourself sometimes has extra consequences....he was willing to take them that day)

All that said - should be interesting....

Oh, and what Lurker said - the guy tried to take a different Chase out on Thursday; thinking if THAT had happened.... most hated man in NASCAR would have easily become his title...

Good night, folks...here's to the 600 coming up!! (and it's nice to be 'arguing' over real racing)

finally got around to watching the video, and yeah, it sure does look deliberate.

I'm remembering a Richmond race from years ago.... Dale, Jr. got taken out like that.... one of the TV announcers or one of the pit announcers, can't remember which it was, actually said that they saw Shrubby turn the steering wheel right, and I remember watching the replay and it sure did look like he turned into Jr.

But they were side by side and the excuse of getting loose had to suffice.

Anyway, forget Elliott and his team.... I don't know how something that looks that obviously blatant sits well in the garage area with ANY driver.

Why not? His and Hendricks seem to finally be back. Chase could have 3 wins by now if not for bad luck and Busch league drivers. They struggle the past 3 years but the cars are sound. He’s been in playoffs too.

And yes, the points he lost from Buschleague driving cost him bigtime as they matter when going from 8 to final 4 cut.

So back to question that was ignored, will you feel the same if Chase takes out Buschleague in the final race? Oh my bad, so sorry Cryle, now that I apologized its all good. No hard feelers.

I see no reason to call either one names, it just my opinion that Kyle has a better chance then Chase...Simple as that... Chase isn't going to take Kyle out, I don't "hate" Chase for stuffing Denny Hamlin, which was intentional... but then, you bandwagoners forget that part...

So whats your opinion if Chase takes out Kyle in finals? Still waiting

And of course Chase took out Hamlin payback is sweet

Re: Kyle Busch Salute

In case anyone missed it Chase beat Bushleague last night. Chase started 26 in lesser equipment and Cryle started 16 in better stuff. End of race last segment Busch had better tires and could not get to and pass Chase. Then Cryle cried about his team saying they had 6 months off and couldn’t bring a truck to win. Instead of taking high road he cried about it just like he always does.

And to make matters worse for Kyle, Chase did the normal Kyle bend over thank you skit with flag in hand lol.
