MLB pulls the All-Star game out of Atlanta, costing a predominantly minority populated city at least $100 million in revenue, because Georgia passes a law that requires a valid id to vote....
but requires an id for any fan to pick up tickets at the stadium.
Just about every major sports league, save the NHL, has lost not only a common sense approach to the delivery of their product, but also any credibility they may have once held.
So, MLB moves the All-Star Game from one of the blackest cities in the United States (Atlanta), to one of the whitest cities in the United States(Denver).... because of a new voting law, which they claim discriminates against people of color, thereby favoring people not of color. The national past time is a national joke.
